“ Chukfo Taipan is a very famous BBQ spot in Wan Chai. In fact, it is one of top rank spot all the time. There is always line up outside. We ordered BBQ pork with 2 eggs on rice, and roasted goose and soy chicken on rice. The cha siu is cut in thin slices, but we saw the cha siu is cut in thick slice on the other table. Maybe it depends on the chef. Roasted goose and soy chicken are both very tasty. Price range is between $60-$80 per person for lunch. Overall, highly recommended! ”
“ There is a siu mei shop in Wan Chai. Lunch Hour often has a long line, featuring a variety of Hong Kong style siu flavors, and you can choose a staple food according to your personal preferences The environment in the store is smaller, many people have to pick up in advance, it's better to serve the food fast enough, and everyone skips after eating, popular with office workers. The signature dish has ancient well roasted porridge, made from home-made old skin, made of the internal sauce, the taste is strong, the skin is crispy, no matter what. Self-interested promotion of the king of pork, fat and thin, tender and smooth meat, and the taste will not be too good. Soy chicken magically slippery and bacon tastes good. Burned ticks are fat, the entrance is easy, the outer skin is crispy. The staple food is Shanghai coarse noodles, starch rice noodles or rice. “ Top spot for a quick Cooked Meats meal. I’ve given it 4/5 for food because not all the dishes are top notch. The Barbecue Pork 叉燒 was 9.5/10, really impressed by the thickness of the cuts and the sweet sauce to accompany. The Roasted Pork 燒肉 was a little dry for my liking but the crispy skin was on point. The Chicken Steak was really surprising, best one I’ve had in Hong Kong by a long shot, the sauce was unique and the meat soft. Highly recommend! ”

“ Went there around 3pm. Ordered the tea time set. Roast Goose and Char Siew/Roast Pork for HK$49 each and soup HK$6. Goose skin was crispy, meat tender. Roast pork had crackling skin and fat practically melts in the mouth. One of the best I’ve tried and reasonable prices too. Will visit again. ”
“ The restaurant was a small one. The food quality was really good. The BBQ pork was tender and the rice was al dente. Yet the portion was a bit small in that price. Ordering lunch set may add a drink with extra few dollars. The restaurant is always packed during lunch time so group of 4 or more usually needs to wait longer for a big table. ”
“ Went to this restaurant around noon on Monday with a bit of line but the queue moved at an ok pace so for around 20ish queue we only wait around 20-30 mins. Just make sure the one who run the queue know you don't speak Chinese so they call your number in English (ours got skip but luckily they let us in for the next queue). The seating depends which table is available so you might be seated with other people. The service is fast and tips is to mention you want to order a combo as it can save quite a few dollars on drinks. The food itself is amazing and we have no complaint. The milk tea is also very nice! ”
